6 Tips for Building Brand Loyalty
1. Know your value proposition.
What would you say if you had just 10 words to describe why people should buy your products and services? Your value proposition is a mini success story about how you satisfy customer needs.
2. Tell compelling true stories.
Compelling stories motivate customers to take action. They have a beginning, middle and end. Prospects don’t feel like they're being sold--they're being taken on a journey.
3. Personalize your brand.
Show your passion for what you do and how you do it, and invite customers to tell their stories. Personal stories make your brand more relevant.
4. Keep marketing messages short.
Busy people scan headlines and skip dense text. Customers are more motivated to read short copy and quick tips. Rule of thumb: Cut 50% of the words and keep 100% of the message.
5. Ask for action.
Tell people what you want them to do -- click a link, call for info, request a demo, attend an event -- and give them a good reason to do it. Don't be clever, be clear!
6. Nurture every sales lead.
Converting leads to sales takes more than phone calls to ask if prospects are ready to buy. Build relationships with a communication strategy that makes your company a partner in their success.
